Southeast Asia partnership with JobStreet
[“64114” ]Code Institute has announced a new partnership with JobStreet Education today. JobStreet Education is the training-providing arm of JobStreet.com, one of Asia’s leading online employment marketplaces.
JobStreet Education will offer Code Institute’s globally recognised Diploma in Software Development to potential students in Southeast Asia. This is the first university credit-rating coding boot camp available from JobStreet Education.
Figures from Southeast Asia indicate a growing skills gap in the ICT sector. Code Institute and JobStreet Education’s aim is to close the ICT skills gap in these countries.
In both Malaysia and Singapore, the tech sector is experiencing the highest growth among all sectors. This, coupled with rising salaries in IT-related careers, means that it is expected that there will be high demand for the course.
Code Institute is continuing its global growth and its courses are now growing in various countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Ireland. This significant step into the vast Asian market is expected to show considerable growth for Code Institute, especially in the Singapore/Malaysia regions.
Jim Cassidy, CEO of Code Institute, said, “We have been targeting the Asian market for some time now and are delighted to be working with the leading player in the Southeast Asian career conversion market to help bridge the skills gap. We look forward to further growth and new opportunities with JobStreet”.
Lautaro Fernandez, General Manager of JobStreet Education, said “We’re very excited to be bringing Code Institute’s offering to our audience and market. Tech industry demands for Full Stack and Software Development roles in South East Asia are at an all-time high showing the need for quality education in this sector to allow prospective students to maximise their chances in this arena. With a globally recognised and credit-rated course delivered online we feel we’ll be in the best position to help those aspiring to enter the software development job market.”
