This course is designed for business leaders, owner-managers, and operational professionals who are responsible for AI outcomes in their organisation but haven’t had structured, hands-on training to deliver them. You don’t need a technical background or prior AI experience. If you manage people, budgets, or business processes, this course is built for you.
This programme is funded through Solent Growth Partnership for learners who live or work in the Portsmouth, Southampton, or Isle of Wight area. You must be aged 19 or over and currently employed or self-employed. Employer co-funding applies: companies with up to 250 staff pay 10% of the course fee, companies with over 250 staff pay 30%, and self-employed learners attend fully funded at no cost.
60+ contact hours over 10 weeks. Structured as half-day and full-day workshops, concluding with a 3-day proof of concept sprint.
None — designed for leaders and managers. Access to a paid AI workspace tool (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Google Gemini) is required (we can help you choose and provision before enrolment). This is to ensure the privacy of your organisation’s data and ensure that any IP created remains with your organisation following the completion of the course.
Most laptop computers are perfect for this programme. However, we recommend that the device has at least 4Gb RAM – 8Gb RAM is even better.
Your assessment is completely practical and tied directly to your own business. It takes the form of a practical portfolio made up of 4 evidence pieces.
