We are proud to announce that Code Institute has been awarded an “Outstanding” rating overall in our first full Ofsted inspection. This exceptional achievement is a testament to the dedication of our team, the commitment of our learners, and the strength of our industry partnerships.
Following an inspection process carried out by Ofsted, Code Institute earned Outstanding grades across all key areas:
- Quality of Education
- Behaviour and Attitudes
- Personal Development
- Leadership and Management
- Adult Learning Programmes
- Overall Effectiveness.
Achieving this rating is especially significant, as only 8% of independent learning providers received an overall “Outstanding” rating, according to the Further Education and Skills Inspections and Outcomes Report as of 31 August 2024.
This recognition confirms our position as a leading provider of digital skills training, ensuring that learners receive a top-tier quality of education designed to help them excel in today’s competitive tech industry.
A Milestone Achievement
Ofsted inspectors commended our high-quality teaching, leadership, and learner progress. They noted our commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment. In their report, inspectors highlighted our strong sense of community, and our ongoing drive to innovate and improve the learning experience.
As stated in the report, “Learners are incredibly enthusiastic about their learning. They are highly driven to extend their learning beyond the classroom, participating in research and independent learning activities to deepen their knowledge.”.The report further highlights the strength of the curriculum, noting that “Leaders have developed a curriculum offer that is highly responsive to the skills needs of the coding industry. They have fostered strong partnerships with a well-developed network of leading global employers in the digital industry. These networks have enabled them to design and continuously adapt curriculums to reflect current trends in the industry.”
