Hafsa Adeel built a full stack Django wellbeing app during a full stack web development bootcamp run by Code Institute. Hafsa, a certified Salesforce Technical Consultant based in Berkshire, signed up for the Full-Stack Software Developer Skills Bootcamp to add coding skills alongside her existing Salesforce expertise. What started as a way to broaden her technical capability turned into the foundation for her own product.
What Is the Wellbeing App Hafsa Built During Her Bootcamp?
The app, called Veylin, is a full stack Django platform that helps users understand their thoughts, emotions and behaviours through structured self-reflection and personal growth tools. It is aimed at people who feel overwhelmed or unsure of themselves and are looking for support in building confidence and self-awareness. Hafsa is developing features including user authentication, personalised dashboards, guided journaling and progress tracking, all built using the skills she gained on her full stack web development bootcamp.

How a Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp Shaped the Wellbeing App
Over the course of her full stack web development bootcamp, Hafsa learned Python and the Django framework, building full stack web applications, working with databases and implementing user authentication systems. She also developed front end skills in HTML, CSS and Bootstrap, and learned to use Git and GitHub for version control, collaboration and deployment.
These were exactly the tools she needed to take her app from concept to working application. Beyond the technical syllabus, Hafsa says the course strengthened her problem solving, attention to detail and resilience, particularly while debugging more complex issues in Django.
Why Hafsa Combined Salesforce Experience With Full Stack Development Skills
Hafsa came to the bootcamp as a certified Salesforce Technical Consultant looking to progress in her field. Completing the programme expanded her skill set and opened up new opportunities in web development alongside her Salesforce background. She now feels more confident applying for technical roles, taking on freelance work and building her own applications.

Advice for Others Starting a Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp
Hafsa’s advice to anyone beginning their journey into tech is to focus on consistency rather than perfection. She encourages new learners not to fear mistakes or challenges, since that is where most learning happens, and to break problems into smaller steps while making use of communities and documentation along the way.
Hafsa’s progress shows how a full stack web development bootcamp can give an established professional the tools to build something entirely new. Alongside her Salesforce career, she has used her full stack development skills to launch her own wellbeing app and is continuing to grow it, combining technical capability with a genuine interest in helping people build confidence.
