Python in the Nordics

Nordic countries are among the most digitalised in the world. Everyone has multiple electronic devices, and most companies use advanced technology. This has led to an increased demand for software developers across Nordic countries – in all industries. Most of these companies use Python as their back-end programming language. Let’s take a look at some of the reasons why you should learn Python in the Nordics. 

Popularity of Python in the Nordics 

Doing a quick Google search on Python and Nordic companies clarifies that most of the biggest companies out there use Python for their business to some extent. The leading Danish shipping company Maersk has multiple positions that all include the ability to code Python. The same goes for the music streaming giant Spotify in Sweden, which uses Python for its Platform. If we look at Python in Norway, the Norwegian oil and gas industry leader Equinor also offers positions in a wide range of Python developer roles.

Python is used for many of the automation processes in the biggest companies in the Nordics. It is also used in the development of artificial intelligence.
