By Cultivating a Global Pipeline of Talent

Diversity Matters
When it comes to employment-led education, we’ve ripped up the slow and outdated rule book. We believe anyone can transform their career and making our course more accessible is high on the agenda.
Workplace diversity matters. Not only is it proven to increase productivity, employee engagement and innovation, it also impacts the bottom line. We partner with 1000 global employers, government bodies and educational institutions who share our diverse mission.

What Is The Level Up Programme?
LevelUp is a CSR initiative, in partnership with Zartis, aiming to upskill refugees and asylum seekers across several European countries, including Ireland, Spain and Germany. It provides focused training and help connect ambitious professionals with tech employers.
Now in our third year, this programme has seen many successes and has assisted in placing students in tech roles with global employers like HubSpot, Ericsson and Starwood Hotels.
Code Institute’s Level Up programme is 100% online and offers students the flexibility that is needed in today’s world. It prepares students for the challenges and expectations of the current jobs market.

Women In Tech
Coding Careers for Women is a joint initiative between Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board and the Mid-West Regional Skills Forum. This pilot initiative offers women a pathway into a career in the tech industry. It combines a 52-week online Diploma in Software Development with a 3-month work placement, in partnership with the local tech industry.

Ethical Outplacement
During a corporate restructuring project, Code Institute partnered with ING outplacement department and offered staff reskilling opportunities as a part of their exit package. Code Institute ran an intensive 16-week online programme for Dutch employees. These students were supported with bi-daily check-in’s, 1:1 career support, tutoring and monitoring. Within three months of completing the course, all students gained employment in technical roles.

Pride
While Pride is a yearly event, our team and our students have Pride instilled in them all year round. From our #ProudCoders Group to our Pride hackathons and monthly meet-ups, and from our celebration of awareness campaigns and events – Code Institute believes in equal rights and opportunities.
