Code Institute’s professional qualifications programme has been designed in consultation with the AMS to coincide with the requirements for the Bildungskarenz and Bildungsteilzeit.

All students benefit from the same course content, mentoring, and career service. The only difference is that students receiving AMS funding must report their progress to the AMS, and students on Bildungskarenz are automatically enrolled on the eCommerce specialist skill path for their final project. They also have to complete the programme within 10 months.

It means we have been accredited with the quality seal of the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle. This means we are well-equipped to train professionals in Software Development and can draw government funding. Our mission is to train professionals to tackle the challenges of digitization, decarbonization, and the Fachkräftemangel in Germany and Austria.

As a certified institute and provider of professional qualification programs with a record of success in Europe, we have been approved by the AMS to offer our courses in Austria. This means you can apply for funding with the AMS to finance your tuition.

Our course consists of 800 units, five modules, finishing your professional portfolio and the career accelerator programme. This can be achieved in 10 months with 20 hours of work each week. You will have to adhere to a schedule and attend live sessions with your tutors, mentors, and facilitators. 25% of the course is live, and 75% is devoted to your projects, which you will present at the end of each module to the class and your professional mentor.

You will acquire the skills to incorporate yourself in the modern world of work and will be acquainted with our network of thousands of alumni, professionals, and hiring partners, who, in conjunction with the AMS, will orient you in finding the job you are looking for.

You have to submit 5 projects. These will be the pillars of your portfolio. In your final and 5th project, you will have a choice of specialisation. You can choose between eCommerce, Predictive Analytics, and Advanced Front-End with React JS – giving you the skills to excel in your new role.
