FAQ
The Qualification Opportunities Act (Qualifizierungschancengesetz) addresses the challenges of digitalisation, skilled worker shortages, and an ageing population in Germany. This legislation supports companies, especially SMEs, by introducing funding to cover for up to 100% of the tuition costs and wages of employees, as well as a new training allowance (Qualifizierungsgeld) to facilitate upskilling of your trusted employees.
* Up to 100% Coverage of Tuition Costs of the Weiterbildung for your employees when your company has less than 499 employees. * 50-75% of your employee’s wages during the Weiterbildung duration when your company has less than 499 employees. * 60-67% of your employee’s wages, no matter the size of the company, when you cover the tuition costs.
The Qualifizierungsgeld can be combined with other training funding programs. Program costs are partially or fully funded according to §82 SGB III, which promotes the training of employed workers.
