Diploma in Web Application Development

Delivered by leading UK colleges and awarded by Gateway Qualifications this qualification gives learners practical skills and competency to develop a fully functional Web Application. Upon qualification graduates will be industry ready for employment as Junior Developers or in a tech-facing role in a development team.
Course content provides both the knowledge and practical skills to design, develop and test code solutions and solve problems using code. Learners are fully immersed in the design and build process alongside the practical and theoretical aspects. The course is assessed via four milestone projects which form part of the course content and are evaluated by the college.
What is an Advanced Learner Loan?
Advanced learner loans are available for individuals aged 19 or above to undertake approved qualifications at levels 3 to level 6, at an approved provider in England. Advanced learner loans give individuals access to financial support for tuition costs similar to that available in higher education and are administered by Student Finance England.
They are not means tested or subject to credit checks and any individual who meets the criteria will be able to apply for a loan regardless of their current employment status.
Eligibility Criteria
- 19 or over on the first day of your course
- A UK resident
- Have not previously had a loan for the same qualification and not exceeded the maximum of four loans of which only one Access loan
- For a loan for an Access course, have not had a loan before for that type of course
- Studying at Level 3 or above (Including Access to HE and some substantial part-time courses and Advanced and Higher Apprenticeships) see more details here.
